Do they have a satisfaction guarantee or policy on how to handle an unhappy customer?

Will the cleaning company you hire, provide to you a cleaning checklist for each scheduled clean?  This checklist not only reminds the cleaners on what their duties are but gives you a clear picture on what has been done. You could also ask; if they will return if for any missed an areas? 

Are you insured and bonded?

Be upfront with this question. A professional cleaning company will have a policy in place to deal with mishaps that may happen along the way. Having this kind of policy in place will provide you with security and peace of mind when your cleaners come to work.

Do you use sub-contractors?

Check into see what happens if they end up overbooked?  If they are over booked will they contract your space out to another company?  If that is the case, will they inform you ahead of time? This is a good time to let them know if that is something you would be alright with or not.

Will they provide their own equipment and supplies?
are they willing to use your preferred cleaning products?

If you are unhappy with what cleaning supplies a company provides, you will need to ensure that it would be alright if you gave them your options to use instead.

Can I get all this in writing?
