It’s never too late to get your love something for Valentine’s Day – even if it is very very last minute!
V-Day may have slipped your mind until now, or you may not have had time to get anything for your loved one, but do not fear – we’ve come up with a few very last minute Valentine’s gift ideas that you may like.
Card & Flowers
A nice card and a bouquet of flowers will be easy to get your hands on, and nothing says I love you like a nice bunch of roses or lilies. If your partner isn’t so keen on flowers or if you’re buying for the man in the your life, they may prefer a nice big box of chocolates instead!
A home-made dinner
Food is the way to most people’s hearts, and you can’t go wrong with a nice home-made dinner. Go all out with a 3-course meal, or treat each other and cook it together. Put on some nice music, light some candles, and you’ll easily create a little romantic oasis at home.
Create a voucher
It might be too late to run to the store, but that doesn’t mean you can’t buy your lover a thoughtful and useful gift. For a luxury treat, create a hand-written voucher and offer to pay for your love to enjoy a relaxing day at the spa, or better still, treat both of you so you can enjoy it together. Alternatively, something that will lighten your sweetheart’s load such as paying for a home cleaner to clean the house is both thoughtful and useful, and no doubt your partner will appreciate having some time out from the cores. You can then use this time to go do something together and you won’t have to worry about returning to a messy home!
Give them a massage
The best gifts are often the least expensive, and something like a massage is the perfect way to show your appreciation for your loved one. Fire up some candles, turn down the lights, and give your love a romantic massage so he and she can feel totally relaxed. You never know, they may even return the favour!
